If you’ve ever tried to work a hunk of cold clay you know it’s a chore. It takes the heat of your hands to get it to where you can form it into a work of art. For years I’d been much like that cold clay, inflexible and clunky. I couldn’t do a sit-up without hooking my toes under something. Danita at Portland Pilates Studio helped me change that. I’ve got some core muscle now, and can do a set of thirty with no foot counterweight added. I walk straighter and I feel looser. Life is good. Pilates can work wonders on cold-clay guys like me.
